This page describes how OpenClaw handles Google user data for the currently enabled Google-connected features.
What data categories are accessed
OpenClaw currently accesses Google Calendar data for event lookup and scheduling, and Google Contacts data for contact lookup. Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Tasks are not enabled for the current deployment and are not requested as active scopes.
Why each category is accessed
Calendar data is accessed only to read existing calendar information and create or update events for scheduling workflows. Contacts data is accessed only to look up contact information needed for an authorized workflow.
Sale, advertising, and unrelated sharing
Google user data accessed by OpenClaw is not sold. It is not used for advertising. It is not shared with unrelated third parties except as needed for basic hosting, storage, backup, or operational support of the service.
Human access
Human access to retained Google user data is limited to the operator of OpenClaw and only when reasonably necessary to operate the service, troubleshoot an issue, respond to a support request, investigate abuse, or meet legal obligations.
AI and machine learning use
Google Workspace API data accessed by OpenClaw is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Revocation and deletion
Users can revoke OpenClaw access through Google account permissions. Users can request deletion of stored tokens or related retained data by emailing support@rwctl.us.
Limited Use statement
OpenClaw's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
